SCR and WCR gets in first bio-fuelled locomotive on the occasion of World Environment Day (05.06.2015)
The first diesel engine with 5 per cent mix of bio-diesel makes its debut on the South Central Railway(SCR) and West Central Railway (WCR) on the occasion of World Environment Day (5th June, 2015). In SCR, the loco was fuelled at Sanathnagar depot, Secunderabad while over WCR, first loco was fuelled at Itarsi Diesel Shed.
